NAPM-Cincinnati is comprised of professionals engaged in purchasing and supply management within the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area. It is one of 180 local chapters affiliated with the Institute for Supply Management (formerly known as the National Association of Purchasing Management) headquarters in Tempe, Arizona.

Founded in 1915, ISM has over 44,000 members. It is an organization dedicated to providing national and international leadership in purchasing and materials management.
